What is Church all about?
Proclaiming Good News, Changing Lives, Creating Community
Proclaiming Good News - Jesus came to bring good news to the world. As he said himself, "The blind see, the lame walk, the sick are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to life and the good news is preached to the poor."
Changing Lives - Following Jesus isn't just about going to church for an hour on Sunday. Jesus wants us to become more and more like him.
Creating Community - Peo ple were never meant to exist in isolation. The bible teaches us how being part of the church family provides support and encouragement to help us live our lives the way God wants us to and bring about his kingdom on earth.
King's Church is not a place where people who have "got it all together" meet to look down on those around who struggle with life's problems. Rather, it is a place where those who often struggle themselves meet together to support and encourage each other and to meet with Jesus who is the source of our good news, community and power to change.
