In the late 1980s, King's Church Keswick was a house group of King's Church, Cockermouth with a public act of worship on Sundays in the famous Moot Hall in the centre of Keswick.
In 1991, after the arrival of Derek and Lynda McDonald, the church became a totally autonomous work in its own right and has grown from there into what it is today.
Towards the end of the 1990s, we joined the Newfrontiers family of churches as part of the Cumbria region.
We are also members of the Evangelical Alliance and are heavily involved with Churches Together in Keswick (CTIK).
